February 28th, 2011Question about free hosting: I use officelive.com but in my domain it puts .officelive.com when i bought a domain from godaddy…. but it is an ad free hosting, i am looking for one just like it but just doesnt have .anything to mess with the domain. Freewebs.com has ads.

February 27th, 2011Question about reseller hosting: I’m just wondering what’s the most cost effective way in organizing the hosting of websites if you are looking at building up a few.
- At the moment, I have an hosting account with siteground and a couple of registered domains with them, one of which is the primary domain for my hosting account.
- I also have some domains registered at Godaddy.
- If I wanted to build a site for my godaddy domains, I can’t because it’s not linked with my current hosting provider.
- If at this stage I get a reseller hosting account to another hosting provider, can I then build seperate sites for each of my domain through other registrars without transferring each domain to my new reseller account to minimize transfer fees.
- I’m new at this so your expert opinion will be valuable.

How do I keep my web address but switch my site to a free hosting site?
February 25th, 2011Question about free hosting: I have my own site, taraschnauzers.com that I pay yahoo for monthly. But I want to keep the address and switch to a free website hosting like godaddy, or tripod, etc.
Does anyone know how to do this and which hosting site is the easiest to navigate ?

godaddy-sucks too hard to do
hostgator-good service but get very small space and bandwidth
ebay-full of scammers
so who can u trust?
if i bought a dedicated server can i run it in my home?
About to give up these so called good companies just over sell
