1st Annual GFX Contest

(Sorry that we posted this late. So we’re making this contest 2 weeks long.)

Welcome! This will be HostHelpers’ first annual GFX contest that will be held over the next couple of weeks. This is the test to test all of you, GFX, your skills to design your own creations. Is time to show off your GFX skills! Is now or never!

Registration: Anyone that has a hosting with “HostHelpers.”
And you must be registered in the forum.

Start Date: Aug 13, 2009
End Date: Aug 31, 2009
Vote Date: Sept 1, 2009
Vote End Date: Sept 7, 2009
Announcement Winners Date: Sept 8, 2009

Judges: Chiuy, Justin, and any Moderators
How it works:
Last day to turn in your FINAL GFX Contest is Aug 31, 2009.
The Judges will pick 10 best GFX designs for you to vote.
After that, votes will be counted choosing the top 5, then we will vote again. The final vote date will be on Sept 7, and we will be announcing the winner on Sept 8.

Prizes: Prize will be a free domain from GoDaddy. Any .COM, .NET, etc from GoDaddy. (Up to $9.99) If you already have a domain and wish to not have another one, feel free to PM when you win and we’ll give you something else equal value.

GFX Design Rule: You must create an avatar of yourself with your username on it. You can be creative as you like. Doesn’t matter what you put on there, as long as it follow our TOS, no porn, no nude, no rated M content, copyright content, etc.

Dimension: 150×150
Recommended Dimension: 150×150
Software: Photoshop, GIMP, Paint, etc.
Colors: Any
Design: You must have your username on the avatar.

I believe this is the best way to create this contest an avatar contest. Because you must have your username on it and no one can just steal works from other people, etc. etc. etc.
